Description
The variations in the word for "not" in traditional dialects.
-Words like ikke, icke, ikkje, ekki, ikki, itte and itt comes from the norse word "ekki".
-Words like Inkje, inte, int and inga come from the word for "none" and is often used instead of the other form when it's important to underline the "not" part.
Places that show two words do so because they were used by the same person in one text. The ones on the map are not the only ones I have used to make this.
The dots symbolize areas that are not consistent, and the dots being the rarer (or sometimes newer) form.
